The main objectives include: a review of the scope of practice in Integrative Medicine; recognition of areas of contention between conventional and complementary therapy; discussion of cancer care as an example of evidence-based guidelines in Integrative Medicine; and an understanding of the strengths and limitations in the evidence basis of Integrative Medicine.
